Improvements included new seats, expanded concession and ticket office facilities and completely new user friendly entrance on the south side of the venue. Originally constructed in 1957, the Fieldhouse is named after Brick Breeden, a member of the "Golden Bobcats" basketball team who went onto become head basketball coach and athletic director.
